Tongkat Ali is a plant-derived extract that is called Malaysian ginseng. The main bioactive components of tongkat ali are quassinoid compounds (eurycomanone and eurycomanol), eurycolactones, canthin-6-one metabolites, eurylene and theurylene (squalene derivatives) and eurypeptides.
