Exogenous amino acids and their role in the body

The vast majority of people are aware of how important an aspect in everyone's life is diet. While a few servings of daily food are enough for the average mortal to survive, for athletes a properly balanced diet is the foundation for healthy training and fruitful flourishing of form. One of the most important nutrients for athletes is protein, as it has a key role in muscle regeneration (it accounts for about 20 percent of body weight), and is therefore the basic building block of muscle. Proteins are made up of protein amino acids, which are linked by peptide bonds to form a macromolecular compound. Among amino acids, we distinguish DAA - endogenous amino acids - that is, produced by the body on its own, and, of particular interest to us, EAA exogenous amino acids.

What are EAA amino acids?

Exogenous amino acids, also known as essential amino acids, are natural chemical compounds that the human body cannot synthesize on its own, so they must be supplied in food. They include phenylalanine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan and valine.

Each of them has its own specific function in the body, so it is very important to maintain adequate doses of these substances in our diet. Plural sources of EAA amino acids are eggs, poultry meat and dairy products. However, for avid athletes and their increased need for this type of substance, we recommend our store rich in essential amino acids.

Essential amino acids - products in our store

Supplied with EAA amino acids, Biolab store offers customers an overview of supplements suitable for athletes of any field. Our offer includes, among others:

It is a mix of four compounds, including l-arginine, which, as an essential amino acid relatively, is produced in sufficient amounts for adults, but developing organisms should be supplied externally.

L-arginine supports the synthesis of nitric oxide, and thus regulates blood pressure, promotes wound healing and dilates blood vessels. This amino acid also has a positive effect on fat burning and building dry muscle mass, which can please anyone who cares about the appearance of their figure.

Another ingredient is glutamine - an amino acid that plays an extremely important role in the regeneration of already existing, as well as in the formation of new muscle cells. If your body is subjected to long-term excessive stress, autoimmune diseases or above-average physical exertion, your muscles will thank you for supporting their regeneration with this amino acid. The composition of the product is also enriched with agmatine responsible for inducing the so-called pump effect, which is very often an ingredient of pre-workout stacks. The action of agmatine has a positive effect on improving concentration and short- and long-term memory. The whole is perfectly complemented by carnitine, which aids in the elimination of fat cells by supporting the absorption of fatty acids into the bloodstream, and - as a result - is an excellent supplement in weight loss treatments.

This is a supplement containing both relatively exogenous, non-protein, endogenous amino acids, as well as typical EAA, whose multi-level action will seriously affect the achievement of a powerful pump during any workout. This product will support your body's cellular respiration by providing all three amino acids necessary for the Krebs cycle to take place. The aforementioned arginine, along with ornithine and cytrulline, are involved in the conversion of ammonia into urea, which is excreted in the urine once it reaches the kidneys. Therefore, a deficiency of any of these components can disrupt the detoxification process.

The synergistic composition of Extreme Pump 2, thanks to the fact that it has EAA amino acids in its composition, is able to increase the rate of muscle mass gain by stimulating the production of growth hormone, and the reduction of ammonia makes the muscle regeneration process more efficient. On its own, ornithine improves the quality of sleep and makes it easier to fall asleep by lowering cortisol levels in the blood, resulting in a better mood and helping to treat chronic fatigue syndrome.

The next important ingredient that essential amino acid-rich supplements should contain is lysine. This essential amino acid is excellent for injuries, as it accelerates the regeneration of damaged tissues. Lysine, along with another amino acid in the composition of our amino acid cocktail - glycine - contribute to the production of collagen, which is irreplaceable when it comes to the youthful appearance and good condition of the skin. Glycine is also invaluable in maintaining adequate levels of muscle mass, and supports tissue recovery after exercise. This amino acid regulates blood sugar levels, which can result in a significant reduction in fatigue and offset feelings of hunger.
