SYNEPHRINE 25mg/60capsule

Synephrine is a biogenic amine, a substance found in large amounts in citrus peels such as bitter orange. Extracts from the fruits or skins of these plants have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years to treat stomach problems and allergies. There are many misconceptions and controversies surrounding whether synephrine is safe and what effect it has on the body.

1. Increases the breakdown of glucose and glycogen in the liver.

2. Increases muscle glucose use by stimulating an enzyme that detects fuel levels in cells and stimulates fat burning.

3. It also increases the absorption of sugar into the cells.

4. Inhibits α-amylase and α-glucosidase, two enzymes that digest complex starches - this prevents blood sugar spikes after meals.

5. Synephrine weakly activates receptors that respond to adrenaline and increase heart rate and blood pressure. Therefore, some researchers have concluded that it is unlikely to cause an increase in blood pressure or heart rate like caffeine.

6. Anti-inflammatory - In cells, synephrine stops the production of a molecule that signals white blood cells to move towards the inflamed area. It also blocks the activity of an enzyme produced in neutrophils that creates many reactive oxygen species. On the other hand, it reduces the activation of NF-κB. NF-κB plays a role in many inflammatory diseases such as asthma, inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis.

There are studies that have shown that taking 50 mg of Synephrine allowed you to burn 65 more calories in the first 75 minutes after taking https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21537493/

The fat burning process in the body is regulated by chemicals called catecholamines. These molecules bind to receptors on fat cells and trigger the release of stored energy for burning. The problem, however, is that some fat cells are resistant to mobilization. This means that they do not respond to catecholamines like other fat cells that are easier to burn, and Synephrine can help mobilize stubborn fat cells by blocking the activity of alpha receptors in fat cells. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2833972/

In other words, synephrine can prevent the inhibition of fat mobilization by alpha receptors in fat cells. Last but not least, anything with the ability to increase catecholamine activity can also suppress hunger between meals (part of the fight or flight response). Synephrine's appetite suppressing effects have been demonstrated in animal studies and have plenty of anecdotal evidence (many believe it to be an effective appetite suppressant). https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23746567/
