MAGNESIUM TAURATE

The substance is considered one of the better absorbed forms of magnesium.

It also shows antioxidant properties, is involved in the regulation of glucose metabolism, and regulates calcium concentration in cells. Like magnesium, it has a protective effect on the heart and prevents hypertension and arrhythmia. It can also prevent diabetes.

Magnesium is found in whole grains, almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, green leafy vegetables, soybeans, avocados, bananas, apricots, apples, cashew nuts, lima beans, molasses.

1. takes part in carbohydrate metabolism

2. takes part in fat metabolism

3. synthesis of DNA and proteins active transport of ions across cell membranes

4. cell migration and wound healing

Magnesium is mainly found in the skeleton, but also in skeletal muscles and inside/outside cells, and nearly 300 basic metabolic reactions depend on magnesium.

Magnesium taurate contains an amino acid called taurine, which has calming, neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects in the brain. Taurine also appears to help magnesium enter the brain. In addition, it is gentle on the digestive tract, making it unlikely to cause loose stools and diarrhea. In a recent study, magnesium acetyl taurate increased brain magnesium levels more than any other form of magnesium.

Limited evidence suggests that it may lower blood pressure and protect the cardiovascular system. The authors of a 2018 animal study reported that magnesium taurate reduced high blood pressure and heart damage in rats that took the toxic substance. The researchers concluded that this shows the potential of magnesium taurate as a cardioprotective dietary supplement.

According to approved health claims, magnesium supplementation contributes to:

1. Proper functioning of the nervous system - Magnesium plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses and supports the proper functioning of the nervous system. By regulating the activity of neurotransmitters, magnesium helps maintain healthy communication between nerves.

2. Proper functioning of muscles (including the heart) - Magnesium is essential for the contraction and relaxation of muscles, including the heart muscle. It helps regulate muscle contractions, thus contributing to the proper functioning of muscles throughout the body.

3.  Normal psychological function - Magnesium has been shown to support normal psychological function by affecting various neurotransmitters and receptors involved in mood regulation and cognitive processes.

4.  Reduction of fatigue and tiredness - magnesium is involved in energy metabolism, helping to convert the food consumed into energy. By supporting this process, magnesium contributes to the reduction of fatigue and tiredness.

5. Proper energy metabolism - As mentioned earlier, magnesium plays a key role in the process of converting food into energy. It participates in various metabolic pathways that generate energy, promoting proper energy metabolism.

6. Electrolyte balance - Magnesium contributes to maintaining electrolyte balance in the body, which is essential for the proper functioning of cells and organs. It helps regulate the balance of other minerals and ions, such as sodium, potassium and calcium.

7. Maintaining healthy bones - Magnesium is an essential component of bone structure and plays a significant role in bone mineralization. By contributing to the maintenance of healthy bones, magnesium supports the overall health of the skeletal system.

8. Maintaining healthy teeth - Like bone health, magnesium is also crucial for maintaining healthy teeth. It is an essential component of the structure of teeth and contributes to their mineralization, ensuring their strength and durability.

9. Magnesium contributes to proper protein synthesis - Protein synthesis is a fundamental biological process, and magnesium plays a key role in it. By supporting proper protein synthesis, magnesium helps maintain and repair tissues and contributes to overall growth and development.

10. Magnesium plays a role in cell division - cell division is an essential process of growth, development and repair in the body. Magnesium is involved in various stages of cell division, ensuring the proper functioning of this important process.
