Green tea, white tea and black tea are made from the dried leaves of Camellia sinensis, a perennial evergreen shrub. About 30-40% of the dry weight of Camellia sinensis tea leaves are catechins, which are antioxidants. The four main tea catechins are epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG) and epicatechin (EC). Of these, EGCG is the most widespread and accounts for 50-80% of all catechins. EGCG is the most common catechin in dietary supplements, and its use increased among US adults between 1999 and 2012.

Combined with formalin, we have the ideal burner for women who want to achieve the figure of their dreams before summer.

EGCG is an antioxidant that can fight free radical damage. EGCG is at least 100 times more effective than vitamin C and 25 times more effective than vitamin E in protecting cells from oxidative stress damage, which is linked to many diseases, including heart disease. Studies have shown that men who consume more than 10 cups of green tea a day are less likely to suffer from liver disease. EGCG has also been shown to help treat viral hepatitis (inflammation of the liver caused by a virus).

Green tea can help protect the liver by:

 1. Protecting the liver from harmful toxins such as alcohol

 2. Killing dangerous strains of intestinal bacteria (Clostridium and Escherichia coli)

 3. Encouraging the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestines

 4. Reducing excess iron levels that could interfere with ribavirin and interferon treatment for hepatitis C.

Lowers the risk of heart disease - EGCG also has anti-inflammatory properties that are beneficial for heart health. Studies have shown that EGCG in green tea can help lower bad cholesterol and blood pressure, as well as prevent atherosclerosis. All of these are risk factors for heart disease.

Alleviates symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) - EGCG inhibits interleukin 8, a pro-inflammatory cytokine, which can help reduce the risk of gastrointestinal inflammation and IBD, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Green tea has also been linked to a reduced risk of colon cancer, which is especially beneficial for people who are at high risk of cancer due to IBD.

Supports joint health - EGCG has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help prevent or reduce the risk of various joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and synovitis. Many arthritis sufferers report improved symptoms when taking EGCG supplements and eating EGCG-rich foods.
