BRAIN MATRIX MIX 350mg / capsule

Phenylpiracetam is well known for its cognitive-enhancing effects and is used to restore the cognitive function of the brain. It is included in the "racetam" group of nootropic drugs along with Piracetam, Oxiracetam, Aniracetam and Pramiracetam.

For whom?

  • a nootropic mix for the restoration of cognitive function and the improvement of cognitive functions
  • ideal formula for people with neurotransmitter deficiencies (e.g. through the use of stimulants or medication)
  • Improves mood and motivation
  • Improves motor functions
  • Ideal as a pre-workout product or for high mental effort

Phenylpiracetam was synthesized from piracetam by adding a phenyl group to the substance, which determines a significant difference in the pharmacological effects of these drugs. Phenylpiracetam has several actions that may help alleviate the symptoms of cognitive decline:

1. Protects neurons from excess glutamate (excitotoxicity) due to its neuroprotective effects, thereby preventing cell death.

2. Through its neurometabolic effects, it improves the supply of energy to neurons.

3. Restores synaptic transmission between neurons, causing nootropic, anti-asthenic and adaptogenic effects.

Pyrrolidone nootropics, in particular Fenotropil / Phenylpiracetam and Piracetam, have mechanisms of action similar to natural ones and exhibit neurometabolic effects. This is expressed in easier flow of information between brain structures, increased synaptic transmission, increased level of wakefulness, increased absolute and relative power of the EEG spectrum of the cortex and subcortical structures, in particular the hippocampus. The mechanism of neurochemical action of pyrrolidone nootropics is determined by the stimulation of metabolic, bioenergetic and plastic processes in the brain, including increased synthesis of proteins and phospholipids and an increased rate of circulation of information molecules.

Phenylpiracetam has the following effects:

1. The nootropic effect of phenylpiracetam is manifested by a pronounced anti-amnestic effect. It has a direct activating effect on the integrative activity of the brain, promotes memory consolidation, improves concentration and mental performance, facilitates learning, and increases the speed of information transfer between the cerebral hemispheres.

2. Phenylpiracetam increases the content of norepinephrine, dopamine and serotonin in the brain. It does not affect the level of GABA, does not bind to GABA-A and GABA-B receptors and has no significant effect on the spontaneous bioelectric activity of the brain.

3. Phenylpiracetam improves the resistance of brain tissue to toxic effects and has anticonvulsant and anxiolytic effects. Phenylpiracetam has a positive effect on metabolic processes, stimulates redox processes and increases the body's energy potential through the use of glucose.

4. The stimulating effect of phenylpiracetam is manifested by faster motor reactions and increased physical performance. The psychostimulating effect dominates in the imaginary sphere.

5. When taking phenylpiracetam, vision may improve, which may manifest itself in an increase in visual acuity and clarity. Phenylpiracetam is believed to improve blood supply to the lower limbs.

6. The moderate psychostimulant effect of the drug is combined with its anti-anxiety effect. Phenylpiracetam has some analgesic effects by increasing the pain sensitivity threshold.

7. The adaptogenic effect of phenylpiracetam is manifested by increased resistance to stress in conditions of excessive mental and physical exertion, fatigue, hypokinesia and immobilization, and at low temperatures.

8. It is known that phenylpiracetam stimulates the production of antibodies in response to the introduction of an antigen, which is an indicator of immunostimulatory properties. But at the same time, phenylpiracetam does not contribute to the development of immediate hypersensitivity and does not replace the allergic inflammatory reaction of the skin caused by the introduction of a foreign protein.

The list of symptoms for which the drug is used is quite wide:

1. Deterioration of intellectual and mnestic functions accompanying CNS disorders of various origins

2. Attention deficit and memory impairment caused by neurotic states and increased exhaustion

3. Increased fatigue and overload of mental and physical performance

4. Mild to moderate depressive disorders

5. Asthenic disorders (migraines, headaches)

6. ENT disorders (tinnitus, etc.)

7. CNS disorders of various genesis, especially related to vascular diseases and metabolic disorders in the brain, poisoning (especially in post-traumatic conditions and chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency), accompanied by deterioration of intellectual-mnestic functions and reduced motor activity.

8. Neurotic states, manifested by atony, increased exhaustion, reduced psychomotor activity, attention and memory disorders.

9. Division of the learning process.

10. mild to moderate depression.

11. Psychoorganic syndromes manifested by intellectual-mnestic disorders and apathetic-abulic phenomena, as well as apathetic states in schizophrenia.

12. Convulsive states.

13. Obesity (digestive and constitutional origin);

14. Preventing hypoxia, increasing stress resistance.

15. Correction of the functional state of the body in extreme professional work conditions in order to prevent fatigue and increase the ability to perform mental and physical work.

16. Correction of the circadian biorhythm, reversal of the sleep-wake cycle.

17. Chronic alcoholism (to reduce weakness, depression and intellectual-mnestic disorders).

Phenylpiracetam does not have teratogenic, mutagenic, carcinogenic or embryotoxic properties. It is a low-toxic drug: the lethal dose in an acute experiment is 800 mg/kg. It does not cause addiction, withdrawal effects, does not increase tolerance and the effect can be felt after the first dose. Phenylpiracetam is quickly absorbed, penetrates various organs and tissues and easily crosses the blood-brain barrier (BBB). The absolute bioavailability of the drug after oral administration is 100%. Tmax in blood is 1 hour, T½ is 3–5 hours. Phenylpiracetam is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged: approximately 40% in urine and 60% in bile and sweat, and its banned by WADA.
