FISETIN 100mg/capsule

Fisetin is a natural compound found in various fruits and vegetables in amounts ranging from 2 micrograms to 160 micrograms per gram of fruit or vegetable. It belongs to a class of compounds known as flavonoids. These compounds are known for their many health benefits, and Fisetin is one of the most potent flavonoids.

Benefits

  • restores tissue homeostasis
  • delays the body's ageing processes,
  • supports antioxidant activity,
  • supports memory and cognitive functions,
  • exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects
  • works well in combination with quercetin
  • maintains optimal glutathione levels (one of the human body's most important antioxidants, protecting our brain's neurons from destruction and death)

Fisetin has many beneficial effects on the human body. As with many flavonoids, it is an antioxidant that can help reduce damage caused by free radicals and reactive oxygen species. In addition, Fisetin has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties responsible for many health benefits. There are many health benefits associated with the use of fisetin. There are two ways to increase fisetin intake; one is to take available supplements, and the other is to increase the number of fisetin-rich foods in the diet. While there are no clear answers as to which is better, fisetin-rich foods provide other nutrients beneficial to health and are the preferred route.

1. Fisetin and Alzheimer's disease - In mouse studies, fisetin has been shown to improve long-term memory, which can be very useful in memory disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. It has also been shown to promote neuronal growth, reduce oxidative stress in brain tissue and reduce inflammation in brain cells, which is beneficial in preventing Alzheimer's disease.

2. Fisetin and stroke - Fisetin has been shown to reduce behavioral deficits in rabbits after stroke. In addition, it can reduce the amount of damage and death observed in mouse models of stroke and reduce inflammation in response to stroke. In addition, Fisetin has a protective effect, preventing more damage to brain tissue after stroke treatment and the return of blood flow to affected areas of the brain. It reduces the number of cells involved in inflammation before entering the affected areas, resulting in reduced damage to surrounding brain tissue.

3. Fisetin and aging - Aging cells are cells that permanently stop dividing but do not die. These cells are believed to be the driving force behind aging and age-related diseases. Fisetin has been shown to target aging in various tissues and reduce age-related pathologies while extending the lifespan of mice.

4.  Fisetin and UV-A damage - The sun produces two types of ultraviolet light, UV-A and UV-B, responsible for adverse effects on the skin. UV-A causes numerous age-related skin damages, such as the development of premature wrinkles, collagen and elastin damage, and the formation of free radicals. These effects of UV-A can be reduced by fisetin, resulting in slower skin aging. The two main mechanisms used by fisetin to repair and prevent UV-A damage are its ability to neutralize free radicals and reduce the production of matrix metalloproteinase enzymes. Neutralizing free radicals prevents them from causing damage to healthy skin cells. Matrix metalloproteinase enzymes break down collagen and elastin found in healthy skin, and by reducing their levels Fisetin can help improve skin texture.

5. Fisetin and eczema - Atopic dermatitis, a type of eczema, causes redness, itching and a rash           on the skin, mainly due to an inflammatory reaction. However, Fisetin, a potent anti-inflammatory agent, has been shown to reduce the number of inflammatory cells and molecules present in the affected skin of mice. These effects make Fisetin a possible treatment option for patients with atopic dermatitis, but it requires further human studies.
